BRIEF:

The project involves a custom-designed kitchen with an island for a four-member family, conceived as part of an open-plan living space connected to the living room.

CONCEPT:

Given the layout and open connection between the kitchen and living area, a neutral colour palette combining white, grey, and black was chosen. The kitchen is designed not to draw unnecessary attention to itself, not to reduce daylight, and not to visually shrink the space, but instead to become a calm and natural part of the interior.

 

The dominant element is the kitchen island, which extends the working surface and at the same time serves as a place for everyday family interaction. The material concept combines smooth, light surfaces with wood, which adds warmth to the interior and balances the minimalist character of the kitchen.

 

The result is a timeless, functional, and visually restrained kitchen that supports the openness of the space and the natural rhythm of family life.
